Do you know what I think is a total misconception

Do you know what I think is a total misconception about my clients and personal branding shoots in general? That you have to be confident to book and show up for your shoot. That you have to be ready and have all the details ironed out to be able to get in front of the camera. Untrue. In the vast majority of cases. And the only clients that actually DO show up confident, ready and have a plan are clients that have done it before.

But you know what? Despite the fact that some show up to their shoot shaking in their boots, we get it done. Because that all I need from you; just show up. The rest is my job. And yeah it’s WEIRD having your photo taken but we make it relaxed, laugh at the absurdity of it all and get the job done. The results? Banging. Everytime. Confidence not required. 🙏🖤

The ceremony EXIT! This has got to be THE unsung hero shot of a wedding day. Not one of these shots was given a single bit of posing prompt or direction, which means that every single one of these shots is just entirely about the moment as it was. There’s such pure joy in every one. A totally authentic capture, that’s just total happiness. My favourite!

My first wedding of 2026 today and I can’t wait for this moment! Let’s go! 🥰

Leaky eyes at the speeches. All the “when I turned to Google for my speech…”. Cheeky dinner time pints. Grown men with ties around their heads. All those moves at Mr Brightside. Give it all to me.
