Clapton Country Club Recommended Wedding Photographer, Farlie Photography
They’re all special. Of course they are. But I do totally adore about rocking up to a Clapton Country Club wedding as I know it’s going to be totally personal and unique. This is not a wedding venue that leads its couples. This is not a venue to get married and be told how you’re going to do it. What I love is about this place is the total creative freedom they give their couples to fully express themselves on their big day. And this day, for Lydia and Rheagan was no exception. Their day was as fun, witty and thoughtful as they are. And the dancing? I mean I like to think I am no side step shuffler on a dance floor but no one prepared me for the total ravers they’d all be once the band struck up!
Disclaimer: I make no apology for the level of bridal prep sharing made here today! It was double the brides and about quadruple the bridesmaids (they be popular folk this Lydia and Rheagan) than usual, which made for an unprecedented amount of fun on this particular wedding morning. Two of everything, about ten times the smiles (seriously you’ve never seen smiles like Lydia and her sisters) and even a poetry performance… All before the wedding even began! WHAT?!

So you’re getting married?! Wahoooo! It doesn’t get more exciting than that does it?! Let me tell you a little more about how I’d love to be a part of your big day…
Now you get to plan your big day, you probably have lots of decisions to make including deciding the perfect wedding photographer. Besides your shiny new spouse, your wedding photos will be the number one keepsake you take away to remember the day so choosing how it’s captured is a big decision.
I’m based in Colchester, Essex and the majority of my wedding work happens all over Essex, Suffolk and London but I’ll travel to where ever you want. I love to hear about new and exciting destinations, nowhere is too far and nothing is too crazy!
So here’s a little about the kind of wedding photographer I am…
I like to photograph a wedding as it happens, this is your day! So I make sure the focus is on you enjoying every single second and not dominate it with laborious posing sessions. I want to capture those natural, authentic moments that are truly special and individual to you and the people you love.
The best compliment I’ve ever had was from a bridesmaid who observed “I didn’t even know she was there but from the pictures I see she was everywhere!”
Before your big day we can meet, drink coffee, talk all things wedding-y and even go for a little engagement portrait session. Your big day is to be celebrated with your best loved ones, but as your photographer I’m often given a front row seat to these most precious of moments. So it’s probably a good idea we get to know each other a bit and I promise I’m really very friendly! Find out more about my wedding photography HERE!
