A day out IN PARLIAMENT! What?! Whilst I wait for

A day out IN PARLIAMENT! What?! Whilst I wait for the sign from the powers that be here’s what I can share… I had a truly memorable day yesterday capturing an event celebrating and promoting @womeninconstructionanglia hosted by @friel_marketing and @clareyelland85 in The House of Commons. 🤯 What a one to remember?!

This job might not get me to the Seychelles this summer and it might not have me taking my teen to shop in Sephora (as is being requested daily 😆) BUT… it has me so rich in memories and experiences. I meet people from ALL warps of life, I observe stories and lives and events that I wouldn’t have the privilege of in any other job and I got to visit places that it would never even occur to me to think about trying to see.

Yesterday goes straight to the “gonna remember that forever” list. So grateful, truly privileged and so proud of this little business that pings me all over. Thanks so much for the support you guys give me on here to keep me visible and open to these amazing opportunities! 🙏🥹

This is the truest thing I can tell you about what I’ve seen over 12 years of weddings. You’re the vibe. You set the vibe. Whatever you want for your wedding day… BE IT. I can tell you a bunch of bands and flowers and dresses and foods I’ve seen I’ve the years that I thought were awesome but really the main thing you can do to give your guests AND YOU an unforgettable day is just being the vibe. Your guests won’t relax if you are stressing about decor details. Your guests won’t party if you don’t lead the charge on to the dance floor.

So here’s what I’d do… decide how the best day ever would FEEL. Then make every decision based on the answer to “what do I need to happen on my day to make me feel that way?” Then do that.

And if the best day ever would include relaxed, fun, connected and creative story telling photography, that does NOT take over your day… then hit me up with a message to chat! 🙏📲🖤
