What’s my favourite kind of shoot? There’s no

What’s my favourite kind of shoot? There’s no favourite genre or client for me. What is my favourite is a shoot where I feel transported in to someone’s world. That can be a really individual wedding that really feels like the couple, an extended family shoot that’s got great banter and I feel part of the crew for an hour, a company with it’s own special vibe going on… I can’t explain it but it’s something about being offered an experience of something or someone(s) to shoot that feels truly authentic to what they are about and I enter their wonderful bubble for a time.

My morning with @louisavdbgardens felt like that. I arrived via a tiny Suffolk country road, that wound up and up to Louisa’s utterly charming home and gardens. We wondered the gardens for with her daughter capturing as we went. It was a beautiful summers day and Louisa spoke about land and space and named plants for me. What a gorgeous spend of a morning and if I was ever in the market to employ someone to create outside space I would want it to be Louisa so I could feel like it felt to be in her space everyday! What a dream!
