Photographers will often tell you that winter isn’t the time for family sessions but the truth is with this British weather you’re as likely to get rained off in August as you are in December. Chilly temperatures are just all the more reason to keep the session moving and get you cuddled in even closer with your loved ones. You’ll be relieved to hear I’ve never been one to make my clients stand for long, boring posing sessions anyway so keeping everyone moving, walking, running and playing little games is great for stopping everyone from feeling nervous and to keep you all warm. Plus I love the earthy winter tones and organic textures of the woolly layers of your winter wardrobes. What do you think about winter photo sessions? What places that are special to you and your family and where we think we will get the most out of your family to decide the best setting for your shoot.
We can also discuss your wardrobe and props options to help stylise your shoot. Your session will last for around 1-2 hours and I normally try to utilise the best light of the day, which is normally in the morning or late afternoon/evening. Around a week or two after your shoot you will be sent a link to your online viewing gallery and from there you can decide which images you wish to purchase or print.
