Understatement of the century incoming… Planning a wedding is HARD! Every service has a million and one suppliers and every supplier has a different price and a different approach, it’s almost impossible to know where to start. So, after a few laps around the local (and not so local) wedding gig I’ve made it my mission to get social and get connected so I can offer my couples advice on who’s truly wicked to work with. Absolutely adore the photos of our children! Charlie was amazing during our session and I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone. The photographs are beautiful and natural and very very special. Charlie is also great with children and had my daughter smiling and giggling (which is so uncommon for her when she meets someone for the first time!), and was totally fine when my son wouldn’t cooperate for the camera! Charlie did a newborn photo session for our daughter and we cannot recommended her highly enough. Not only are we delighted with the photos but the whole experience was perfect. Charlie made us feel so welcome (with tea and cakes!). She was very laid back and created the perfect setting to maximise the sleeping time (and hence photo opportunities) for our newborn. She soothed our baby perfectly – it was plainly obvious that she had personal experience of handling young babies. We can’t wait to return to her studio for her to capture more photos of our daughter as she grows up.

Brilliant service and experience. Don’t hesitate to book. We came to Charlie with both our sons as she was so fantastic the first time, I knew we couldn’t get better anywhere else. She makes you feel a part of the family in her home so you and the baby are relaxed and comfortable for the shoot. It’s a lovely trip out when you’ve just had a baby and the pictures are beautiful. Something to treasure forever.
Charlie is a dream to work with. She is such a kind and loving person and needless to say, extremely talented. We had a at home with newborn photo session and it was perfect. Charlie was so patient with us when our baby needed feeding (even when our little lady decided to take ages to feed �).
Having her around our house felt like having a friend around who happened to take incredible photos.
I will cherish those photos forever.
Charlie has recently taken some photos of our 8 day old baby boy in our home. After having an emergency c-section, a home shoot was ideal. It was much more relaxing than a studio environment and the photos are more natural. We’ve been provided with a gallery of beautiful photos very quickly after the shoot. I can’t wait to have them printed and displayed! Highly recommend this style of shoot for any new parents. Thanks again Charlie

Charlie and her photography are just amazing! She captures moments and visions and creates memories in an instant. Charlie was our wedding photographer and her kind nature made us, and our guests, feel so relaxed on the day. Charlie is not a photographer that you need to prep with a long list of what shots you want, for she sees them before you do! It’s magical looking back after your wedding and just thinking WOW she captured it all… and more! From the pre wedding shoot to the delivery of our photos, her service is seamless! I had photos taken of my daughter Lyra when she was a week old. I cannot praise Charlie highly enough for every single aspect of our experience, from booking, to the session, to the photos and aftercare we received.
Booking was simple and straightforward, with Charlie answering all our questions quickly.
On the day itself, we (being new, seriously sleep-deprived parents!) arrived at Charlie’s a little late but were greeted so warmly and made to feel completely comfortable and relaxed (even when Lyra pooed and peed her way through several blankets!). Being a parent herself, Charlie knows all the things that are tough in those early days and solved it all with a comfortable place to feed, plus tea and biscuits!
The photos themselves are simply gorgeous. I know we’re biased but she captured our little girl so beautifully. Plus Charlie humoured my request for a particular shot I wanted 🙂 the prints and canvas we ordered are of the highest quality and the disc and USB stick have been very useful for printing additional shots for family and friends.
Sorry for the long review, but I wanted to do Charlie and the experience justice. In summary, perfect!
We had a lovely morning at Charlie’s cosy studio for our daughter, Eliza’s photoshoot. Charlie kept us very relaxed with endless mugs of tea, and was very patient and relaxed with Eliza who was determined to fight off sleeping!!
We are over the moon with the photographs, totally what we wished for; natural, gorgeous and calm-they really show off Eliza’s personality. We will treasure the photographs forever.
We would highly recommend Farlie photography-Charlie is very professional and friendly, and has a wonderful talent!

We have had two photo shoots of our young boys with Charlie now and she is amazing! The wonderful photographs she has created will be treasured forever and we constantly get people comment on them (they are all over the house in various forms!) Apart from that Charlie is a lovely warm person who understands children. She immediately puts them at ease with her lovely nature, the key to capturing wonderful photographs. There is no “hard sell” which can be an issue in this line of work in our previous experience. We wouldnt consider any other photographer now and hope to be soon planning our next photoshoot with Farlie Photography!

We booked both a maternity session and newborn season with Charlie. Both were absolutely perfect. She makes you feel so comfortable and her work was impeccable. Both my husband and I were so impressed with her work – the photos were everything we hoped for and more! We can’t wait to work with her again to capture more more memories as our little one continues to grow!
Absolutely brilliant photos guaranteed. I have had several shoots with Charlie including a maternity shoot and newborn shoot and everytime I am over the moon with the photos she has captured. We had a newborn shoot with Farlie Photography when our little girl was 9 days old. Charlie created such a lovely relaxed atmosphere and did not rush us meaning that baby was settled and happy resulting in the most beautiful pictures. The only problem we have is choosing which photos to display as we don’t have room to display them all!! Thank you for helping us creating such special memories to treasure forever.

Love love LOVE the photos we received from Charlie of our week old daughter, they are all so natural and gorgeous, I can’t decide which ones to get printed!
Charlie was very welcoming and from the minute we arrived, made us feel relaxed, even with our disruptive toddler running around. She quickly got some toys out and even managed to get a picture of the 4 of us- which was a massive achievement considering the toddler was not cooperating at all!
